• The Osia System of Cochlear Ltd has received FDA clearance for children aged, 5-12yrs with hearing impairments like Conductive hearing loss, Mixed hearing loss, and Single sided sensorineural deafness (SSD)
• The Osia System uses digital piezoelectric stimulation to bypass vibrations through the damaged part of the ear to pass vibrations directly to the inner ear (cochlea) to make it more like a natural hearing process            
• The Osia system has proven to be clinically effective in high frequency hearing for children; first and only active bone-conducting system that allows patients to go through MRI scans at 1.5T and 3.0T without any surgery
